Listening to Pimenta Na Pupila (Rala Coxa) by Rodrigo Lessa for Pitangueira, sounds like a tremendous song to play with about five hundred musicians on a beach. One way to make the sun come out!
Having a wonderful time as always at the magnificent Falmouth Bay Seafood Cafe. Packed out and the most lovely audience! Xxx
New and glossy and building beautifully, another place to pop by and say Hi on my News Blog page. Xxx
Pop by for a drink and to say Hi! A lovely afternoon of Demi Jazz. Planning on leaving my tiara at home.
The Sawmills Studio session was wonderful, what amazing humans to be marooned with. On the Demi Project page as a special treat are three songs from the session as a taste - they are not fully mastered yet, but pretty cool anyway (Tommy, howzabout the second rhodes bits?).... talking of which, what a privilege to record with Engineer Par Excellence Tommy, Joyous Chanteuse Debbie Kemp and the Incredibly Inimitably Groovy Pip Harbon on Drums to say nothing of the strangely quirky Leggie DeMain on Bass.
Off to play at the Falmouth Bay on Sunday, always a lovely experience and back again at the beginning of July, details to follow.
I love recording at Sawmills, something about the place is so creatively magical (and Tommy ROCKS)!
I'd love to hear your comments!
